Experience nature up close on the small campsite on our farm. There are around 30 pitches available on the cozy camping meadow, 12 of which have electricity (max. 10 amps).

The service building offers barrier-free toilets and showers, a sauna, a laundry room. In another building there is a kitchen,

There is also a cleaning station for toilet cassettes and a water filling station.

There are several nice swimming spots nearby where you can cool off from the sweltering summer heat while the kids play in the sand.

Risebo is different from “normal” campsites:
– The campsite is located on a farm with animals, some of which roam freely (a horse named Lucas, farm dogs and cats)
– We do not have numbered seats
– socialized dogs of guests can move freely
– The exchange with and among guests is an essential feature of Risebo. Friendships often develop here.

You are absolutely right here if you:
– don’t like anonymous campsites with numbered pitches
– are open to an adventure on a farm
– Like children and animals
– appreciates a relaxed atmosphere with as few rules as possible and nice people
– you like free-roaming animals and dogs

Our farm is run as a small, personal family business and we do our best to respond to the needs of our guests.

The campsite is open all year round.
Access is possible day and night.

We do not have fixed departure times; enjoy your last day with us completely relaxed andnd without stress! 🙂

A fantastic place for people who love nature; the owners are very friendly. Horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs are all present on the farm. We will definitely come back. There's also a sauna.

The most beautiful campsite on our Sweden trip. What started as "I just need a quiet day" turned into five – although it was the off-season. Besides us, there were only two other families there. Everything was very friendly, clean, and welcoming.

We spent a week in Risebo and it was simply wonderful. It's a very relaxing place surrounded by beautiful nature. Pony rides, donkey walks, swimming, excursions to Gamleby and Västervik... everything is possible from Risebo. Everyone who works there is very friendly, and they have delicious bread rolls ready for you every morning at your preferred time. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Daniela and team, for the wonderful time we had with you.

A lovely, family-run campsite, relatively inexpensive including electricity and Wi-Fi. Washing machine and dryer on site. Horses, donkeys, small animals, and plenty of play opportunities for kids...

Where should I start, super lovely family who go out of their way to make sure the guests are happy. Lots of free-roaming animals. If you don't like children and animals, if a modern ambience is important and absolute safety is the most important thing, you should probably look for another holiday destination. Anyone who wants to treat their organically grown children to a real adventure holiday, who can deal with scratches and dog drool as a general life risk and who finds 1960s floral wallpaper in the sanitary facilities charming may find their paradise here.

We lived in the Appelgården house. An oasis of peace and quiet right next to the enclosure for rabbits and guinea pigs - a joy for our daughter, as well as the opportunity to ride horses in the evenings. It was just a nice week with the opportunity to experience a lot, to go on many trips to the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area (Astrid Lindgren World etc.) and then to escape from it again. Risebo is a place to wind down, take a breather and recharge your batteries. It was beautiful there! There are hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. We didn't even manage to do all of them. Another reason to come back...

We stayed in Haus Appelgaden for two weeks in May. Had 2 dogs with us and an absolute dream vacation. We had the rabbits and guinea pigs right next to the house, the farm dogs visited us regularly and I would have loved to take all the cats with me. Daniela fulfilled a mega wish for me - I sat on a horse for the first time when I was almost 50 years old. The house is very lovingly furnished and nothing was missing. We really enjoyed the peace and nature and it was our best vacation so far. I'll be 50 next year and we've booked again for this period. It's a wonderful little corner that Daniela and Patrick have created there. And I would have preferred to stay there. Kind regards from Thuringia🥰👍

We only stayed one night because we had to continue our journey... The place is run by friendly and helpful people who make you feel at ease... super recommended for those with children who can live in contact with the farm animals. .. place in which you can position yourself without being in rigid patterns and which certainly facilitates friendships... Congratulations to the owners!

Risebo Gård is for people who simply need balm for the soul as well as for those who like to experience action.
Here is something for everyone.
From small to large and from young to old.
So ATTENTION!! The big grin from everyone there can infect you too! 😉
Rarely met a place full of harmony, sympathy and incredibly great people.
Hardly a day went by without the feeling desire to stay there longer.
I look forward to seeing you again soon Daniela and Patrick!
All the best and thank you very much for everything.

I would give 0 if it were possible.
Unfriendliness abounds, dogs harassing other dogs, dogs simply running into tents (belonging to the campsite owners, not visitors' dogs).
Stupid comments are made when you bring something like that up. Horses running around uncontrolled and posing a danger.
All in all, a horrible stay.
I won't even comment on the sanitary facilities.

An absolute recommendation! Especially for children. Lots of tame animals. Very friendly German owners on site. Sauna, WiFi, great hiking routes through the bush, fishing and swimming. Everything is there. Above all, peace and untouched, rustic nature.

We felt very comfortable here, almost at home. The farm is simply fantastic for children, boredom is out of the question! The operators of the campsite, a very lovely family, are warm and helpful with all matters and the animals are all deeply relaxed. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this great place.
We'll definitely see each other again!

Very nice camping spot on a family owned farm. Besides the necessities (bathrooms, fresh water, electricity) they offer horseback riding for kids and adults. Daniela and Chiara took me and another woman on a ride-out through the area.

So what can I say:
We were already here on Risebo once in 2022 and this year we had to visit Patrick, Daniela and Co. again because the kids and we thought it was so nice. The kids are out with the other children all day long, be it fishing or hiking, etc. The older one helped with the horses, donkeys and also with pony riding. Patrick and Daniela
(Hosts) are so kind and hospitable... the ride with Daniela and my daughter was really a dream.
The kids mostly slept in the stable on hay. A real star is Lukas the Caming mascot...a horse that is allowed to graze on the site and provides lots of flashing lights...just great...where else can you find that. Saying goodbye wasn't easy for us again...but we'll definitely see each other again.

Taking Asheed hurts (always). We came as guests for the first time and we left as friends. The second time we came as friends and now with the next farewell we are leaving a family. A very big thank you to Daniela & Patrick who always supported us campers with advice and support and had an open ear for everyone in every respect. An absolute paradise for families with children young and old. They run the campsite with a passion that makes you feel really comfortable and makes it hard to leave.
IT WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank you😘😘😘😘💝💝💝

A great campsite on a Swedish farm with German operators. Perfect for families - there are horses, donkeys, dogs, cats and rabbits. You can ride horses or take a walk with the donkeys. There is a beautiful swimming lake nearby. If you're looking for relaxation in nature with your family, this is the right place for you. You probably shouldn't be afraid of animals, because the farm dogs - which are very friendly and child-friendly - run around here and it is possible that one of the horses will come to visit you at the caravan. The operating family is really nice and always helpful. We think it's great!

A very nice parking space with the option of being self-sufficient or with an electricity connection.
Toilets, showers, sauna, washing machine, scullery with stove, oven and microwave are available. There is also a lounge with a table tennis table on site😊
Children and adults can take part in farm life, look after and ride horses, and visit rabbits and guinea pigs.
Lukas,🐎 the free-roaming horse on the farm comes to visit you occasionally. Our dog was allowed to run free.
It was a great time and definitely recommended👌
Thank you Daniela and Patrick, your children and Kiara for the great time with you❤️

I haven't been this relaxed in a long time 😍!

Daniela, Patrick & the children are such a great and friendly family ☺️! Chiara, who was there during our stay and supported Daniela, was also super friendly and always there if you needed help 😁🥰

A great parking space with a kitchen house in which you have a sink, oven + stove and a microwave and a dining table.
There are enough toilets and showers (also for people with disabilities).
There is also a sauna and a large lounge. Laundry can be washed here and a dryer is also available.
You also get electricity and water.

There are animals on the farm such as horses, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.
A trampoline, climbing options and a barbecue area with enough seating are also available.

Here you can ride a pony, hike, fish, swim, canoe, kayak or just relax 😍☺️

Dogs are allowed to run around and one of the horses also runs around in the yard and the surrounding area and, with a bit of luck, comes to the window of the caravan 🪟🐴

And when your own child sits in the child seat with tears in its eyes and we drive home with one crying eye and one laughing eye, then you can say it was a successful stay
Risebo 🫶🏽✨

Very nice campsite with 10 holiday homes. Very nice German speaking hosts. There is the possibility of horseback riding, there are two donkeys and some rabbits. In the vicinity there are beautiful lakes where you can swim. Great for trips to Berg, Michel, Astrid Lindgren Park or Trollpark.

A wonderful place to stay! The friendly and welcoming owners, with their lovely children and many animals, make you feel like you belong. Pony rides, donkey walks, ice cream, animals, numerous (children's) toys/vehicles, beautiful pitches in stunning natural surroundings and peace and quiet – what more could you want? It's not your average campsite.,
But it's a great place to participate, have fun, and unwind. You can easily spend a lot of time here. These are the people and this place you'll want to return to. When we come back, I'll bring a new Boomerang 😉
Thank you very much!

A truly beautiful, family-friendly campsite. A large meadow with some pitches equipped with electricity, but self-sufficient camping is also possible. Toilets, showers, laundry facilities, a sauna, etc., are all available. Children can roam freely, play on the numerous games, jump on the trampoline, walk along a wonderful circular path, pet rabbits, participate in farm life, or even pet the free-roaming horse. It's a bit like something out of a children's book, and Vimmerby isn't far away either.
There are also horses that can be ridden, both large and very small. All the horses are very sweet and child-friendly and are kept in a herd. It's great for children because they can participate in stable work and grooming the horses. The German-speaking owners of the farm take excellent care of their guests. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Finally life is back on Risebo!! The new owners are very welcoming, can be reached almost at any time, the sanitary building with sauna is, as in a previous post, a bit old, but everything is super clean! If you are looking for absolute relaxation, this is the right place. There is still work to be done in the next few years (the previous owners didn't bother at all) but the new owners will get there! We will come back 😊

I'm so glad that my favorite spot in Småland is writing a new chapter with the new owners. If you're looking for an ordinary campsite, this isn't the place for you—but if you're seeking peace and quiet, animals, friendly people, and freedom, you absolutely must visit. There's certainly still some work to be done, but I think that with the dedication of the new owners, a true oasis of well-being for both people and animals will emerge in the coming years.
We'll meet Again!!

5 stars for the experience! We are now staying here for 2 nights with our camper and could have happily stayed a whole week, what a gem! Reservations are not necessary and you can still check on site how long you want to stay. You stood on a large lawn (during our visit
were only the 4 corners occupied) and there is a lot of space. Pay at the moment via a Swedish payment system, cash or PayaPal. Sanitary (currently) dated, but functional and that's totally fine for us!

What appeals to us:
- different from different / natural
- great location for (young) children. There are plenty of play options (walking car, go-kart, scooter, bicycles, trampoline), but the animals are the best! Our daughter enjoyed petting / feeding the bunnies, the attention of the friendly dogs and the horses. She will be talking for a long time about petting, brushing and riding Johnny (shetland pony, who you can walk around their amazing grounds) and the other animals for a long time to come. For the elderly there is also the possibility of horseback riding
- hiking possible from the site. We walked to a recreational lake with a bathing jetty and a small playground (3.5 km on the way) and saw many deer along the way. You can also enjoy a nice walk on the site itself, including 2 lakes.
- the friendly German/Swiss owners have a great place here and have some very cool ideas for the future

We really had a great time, thank you very much and good luck!

Risebo was only taken over last year by its new and very welcoming owners. Besides the camping area, the large property also features ten lovely holiday homes. The countryside around Risebo is beautiful, offering opportunities for hiking, cycling, and fishing. Anyone seeking nature and tranquility will find it there.

There are horses, dogs, cats and guinea pigs that enjoy visits and petting.

The service building is quite old; the previous tenant hadn't done anything to it for a long time. However, it is clean! There is only one toilet and one shower (plus an additional accessible shower and toilet), a kitchen with washing facilities, a conference room and laundry facilities, as well as a sauna.

Risebo is a real highlight, a dream for families with children, but also for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.
